Anxiety Kombat is an online character selection tool that visualizes various ways anxiety can feel like.
I created this to visualize anxiety I experience, which feels like a never ending fight. Anxiety is a gang of video game mobs. You beat one but then another one with different weapons you don’t have armour for, will come out of the shadows. I once thought I was alone in this, but anxiety is the most common mental health issue worldwide. With technology, social pressures, and global crises fueling it, I hope this piece resonates with others and reminds them they’re not alone in the fight.
